The long run-up to Strictly Come Dancing 2021 is well and truly underway. The professional line-up for the popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing has just been revealed and alongside many familiar faces, there are some new ones too.

Last year we saw the show’s first-ever same sex couple, Katya Jones and boxer Nicola Adams. So, what can we expect this year?

Oti Mabuse

Oti is the first to have won the show two years in a row and she is set to take part in the show again this year. Oti’s first win was back in 2019 with Kelvin Fletcher and again last year in 2020 – here she pulled it out of the bag with dark-horse Bill Bailey.

Here is one of her most memorable dances with actor Danny Mac (I really thought the pair were going to win).

Johannes Radebe

Ah, Johannes. The pro joined the show back in 2019 and was paired with actor Catherine Tyldesley. Last year, we saw him grace our screens every week with Caroline Quentin – this made quite the iconic duo.

Take a look at Johannes’ discussion with BBC Three.

Dianne Buswell

Australian dancer Dianne first joined the Strictly team in 2017. She has most notably danced with YouTuber and current boyfriend, Joe Sugg.

Could Dianne secure her first win under her belt this year?

Graziano Di Prima

Sicilian-born Graziano joined the show back in 2018 and was paired with television presenter, Vick Hope. Since then, we have seen him often lead the opening routines over the course of the show.

Anton Du Beke

Anton has been on our screens since the very first series and is the only pro to have danced in every series! And who could forget some of his most memorable dances with the likes of Ann Widecombe? Could this be the year he finally wins?

Giovanni Pernice

Since joining the show, Giovanni has reached the final three times!

Check out his Samba with actor Georgia May Foote below.

Janette Manrara

The wonderful Janette joined the team back in 2013. Last year, whilst paired with HRVY, Janette made it to her first ever final!

Here is the show dance the pair did in the final:

Other pros making a return this year are: Aljaž Škorjanec, Gorka Marquez, Amy Dowden, Nadiya Bychkova, Karen Hauer, Neil Jones, Nancy Xu, Luba Mushtuk, and Katya Jones.

Which stars do you think we will be seeing paired with these professionals this year? Hopefully, we will be finding out very soon!

Oh, and it would be rude not to throw in one of my favourite dances…

What is your favourite dance from over the years? Fingers crossed they can take the show to Blackpool this year!
