During lockdown many of us have been stuck at home and had the chance to catch up on a mounting pile of ‘to read’ books. Coronavirus has impacted social lives and group meet ups, therefore if you are missing your book club, why not try a virtual one?

The disaster relief charity Shelterbox have done just that. This is no ordinary book club; it already has a membership of over 2,000 across the country and each member has the opportunity to vote on the next read for the group.

This would be a great gift as you receive a book every six weeks and join the rest of the book club community for discussion through their Facebook page. The books chosen are compelling stories from around the world. To join, it is a suggested cost of £10 per month.
